Pulsiam Holds Annual User Conference in Colonie, New York

Henry Unger and Steve O'Neal Presenting at SNC

Last week, Pulsiam held its annual user conference in Colonie, New York. SafetyNet Conference (SNC), which has been a longstanding annual tradition for Pulsiam, is focused on bringing together Pulsiam customers to network and share experiences while being trained in using the SafetyNet application suite.

This year’s conference spotlighted three guest speakers: Beth Petitti, from the City of Colorado Springs; Katja Jalonen, from Martin County Sheriff’s Office; and Cameron Blashka, from Pulsiam’s partner, Entrinsik.

SafetyNet Conference is an opportunity for Pulsiam customers to learn from each other.  As Pulsiam’s client services manager, Lisa Harris, explains, “Customers really value having this time to meet each other and talk about their agencies. Even if their operations are completely dissimilar, they often end up learning about new or different ways to approach problems from their conversations.”

The conference highlighted Pulsiam’s close partnership with Esri™ and Esri’s ArcGIS application suite, offering classes on creating Esri Operations Dashboards and Story Maps, lead by Vladi Strinski, Senior GIS Analyst at Pulsiam. “We are extremely excited about our close integration  Esri’s applications and what this means for our customers,” said Strinski. “Every emergency call starts with, ‘What is the location of the emergency?’ Esri is the gold standard in GIS, location analytics, and situational awareness. By partnering with them we want to empower our customers to have access to the very best technology that's available.”

SafetyNet Conference is also an opportunity for Pulsiam customers to meet directly with Pulsiam’s application developers and discuss potential enhancements to the products. “We are very grateful for all of the wonderful ideas we have received from our customers on how to enhance our products,” explained Steve O’Neal, Director of Development and Technical Support at Pulsiam. “Every year we incorporate many customer enhancement requests into our development cycle to create applications that truly fit our customers’ needs. The feedback we receive is invaluable to our development process.”
