Posted Oct 25, 2017 Thank you to our wonderful customer speakers, Kent Ong from Claremont Police Department and Beth Petitti from the City of Colorado Springs, who presented at last week's SafetyNet Conference. Kent demonstrated how Pulsiam's SafetyNet applications can integrate with Dragon NaturallySpeaking Dictation software, allowing officers in the field to fill out forms and write supplemental reports hands-free, allowing records clerks to edit and enter records in SafetyNet RMS, and allowing call takers and dispatchers to enter calls and dispatch incidents in SafetyNet CAD using dictation. Beth spoke on Colorado Springs Police and Fire Departments' successful hardware and software upgrade, and the steps the agency took to ensure that cutover resulted in minimal downtime. Beth spoke on her project management experience and approach, as well as her work directly with Pulsiam and her work within the agency to test her SafetyNet installation, develop a cutover plan, and then execute that plan when the time was right. At Pulsiam, we are proud to have customers who are pioneers in the public safety, working to improve their agencies' operations, develop best practices and standards, and ensure their investment in technology has the best and highest impact on their agencies and the citizens they serve. Thank you again, Kent and Beth.
